Meeting at Westminster with the LibDems & Conservatives

We would like to thank you Mr. Lamb (LibDem Shadow Health Secretary) and Ms. Parsons, Andrew Lansley's (Conservative Shadow Health Secretary) Chief of Staff and your colleagues for letting us speak to you about the failings of the NHS.

Our Agenda today is:

1. J.Brooks of tomsanguish.com will speak about the Misuse of Syringe Drivers, which covers a wide spectrum of application. There is the Dr. Jane Barton/Gosport scandal, for which you Mr. Lamb have tabled an EDM 691 asking for a Public Enquiry. Here elderly patients who were NOT dying were given fatal doses of morphine which is in total contrast to some cases involving the terminally ill. Many terminally ill patients are NOT being given appropriate levels of morphine to ease them out of this world.

2. M. Cubells of wrightingtonwiganandleighexposed.co.uk will be speaking about the High Unexpected Death rates of his Hospital, Wrightington Wigan and Leigh, which has alarming figures that equal those of the Mid Staffordshire and Tameside scandals. Misdiagnosis, wrong treatment and poor care will be outlined. An example being the case disclosed to us by an NHS Doctor, where an 84 year old with a bowel obstruction, in the middle of the night vomited up about 1 litre of old blood. This elderly patient later told the Doctor that a nurse 'threw him" a roll of wet wipes and told him to clean himself up. Then he was left all night in filthy, cold nightwear!

3. Dr. H. Bright, Parliamentary Candidate for the Liberal Party and representing Doctors4Justice.net will speak about how NHS Doctors and Nurses have been treated when they 'dare blow the whistle'. Blowing the Whistle to try to point out poor working practices and potential problems.

If the NHS Whistleblowers had been listened to, then perhaps we, members of the public, would not have had the experiences that we have had when being either a patient or a complainant.

4. Mrs. A. Handy of nhscomplaintsexposed.co.uk will be speaking about the NHS Complaints Procedure, which we and many others have found to be a complete whitewashing exercise when a serious complaint is made. UKIP have told us that 'there is a plethora of advisory bodies put in place simply to waste your time and the final stage the Ombudsman is biased in the Trust's favour.
